Ms. Becca

Ms. Becca has been part of the NAPS family since 2024 and is currently the lead Pre-K Teacher. She loves every minute of it! Becca is originally from Idaho, where she earned Bachelor's Degrees in Secondary Education and in English Literature, and a minor in Music Performance. After teaching high school in Idaho for several years, she moved to Asheville and served as an interim teacher in the North Buncombe School District.

 
Becca has worked with children for the majority of her life, and although her professional career started with secondary students, she has found passion in her niche with the littlest learners. Becca's pedagogy is primarily focused on helping children learn and grow through fostering curiosity, exploration, and self-actualization. She strives to help them navigate emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and their personal paths to becoming all they can be!

In her spare time, Becca loves making music, drawing and painting, reading, gaming, and spending time with the love of her life: her ancient 100 lb. black lab, Tom.
