Ms. Paula

Paula Apostolopoulos has a BA in French, and Secondary Education Certification from UNC-A. She was a teacher at Asheville City Schools in the late 80’s and has been a preschool teacher at North Asheville Preschool since 1983. 

Everything is new and exciting to this age group. Never a boring day.  And I see such developmental leaps in a short time. Sooo many funny, sweet moments and I love their hugs.

Paula’s family moved to the U. S. A. when she was 14 years old. She’s lived in Asheville  since 1973. Her husband and she were the owners of The Med Restaurant in downtown Asheville from 1975 to 2018, when they sold it. It is still open as the 2nd oldest restaurant in Asheville. 

She has 2 daughters who both graduated from NAPS, Asheville City Schools, and UNC-Chapel Hill, undergrad and graduate school.  Her whole family are big Tarheel Basketball fans! Live in North Asheville (Beaverdam Area) and love it!

Love traveling while school is out in the summer, reading, hiking, walking around  Beaver Lake and the Biltmore House grounds, and being involved at her Greek Church.
